About us
Retford Ramblers was founded by local people who have a passion for walking and a love of our local environment.
Today we have a membership of approximately 80 and walkers of any age are welcome. Guests of any of our members are welcome to join us on our walks.
We walk on Sundays and our Walk Leaders provide a wide variety of walks of varying distance and degrees of difficulty so that there is something for everyone.
Our walks are predominantly in north Nottinghamshire, south Yorkshire, north Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.
Joining us
Non Members and Ramblers from a different group are welcome to join one of our walks.
Please contact the Walk Leader in advance to confirm your attendance and to verify the specific details - (contact details are provided on the "Our Walks Program Details" page).
Any of our walks are free to attend by non-members of the Ramblers Association to see if Rambling is for you. However, we do ask that after a couple of introductory walks that you then join the Association.
